Inspiration comes from so many different people and things. I feel that the trends and clothes that are captured in the streets are very influential in the way I dress myself. Everyone has a different take on how to style certain items, which is so unique and fun! I could browse through fashion street blogs all day long!!!

Nine West/Urban Outfitters/Flea market/Rings:local ring designer, H&M/The Gap/Keds
I got these clog like shoes for such a amazing deal from Nine West! I had been contemplating getting the Jeffery Campbell ones, but felt they were a little too tall for myself since I am already 5'9". The backpack is from the Rose Bowl flea market, which I went to for the first time a couple of weeks back. The flea market was so much fun! I had no idea there was going to be so many random cool stuff! As for the metallic Keds, I usually never wear sneakers, but made an exception for these. They are so comfy and easy, and the silvery color spices them up a bit.

Charlotte

This is a pen drawing that I did a little while back. It is of Charlotte Gainsbourg, who I adore! She just exudes elegance in everything she does. There is nothing that woman hasn't dabbled in, from acting to singing to modeling. Charlotte makes the perfect muse!

Pamela VS UO

I know there is no comparison to Pamela Love jewelry, but I don't think I'm ready or able to fork over a grand for a bracelet. Sssoooo my alternative option is the similar style that Urban Outfitters offers for about twenty bucks! Sorry to say but I think Urban wins this battle, well at least for me.

I really love Jake Davis' videos! There is this great stillness to them that is captured. Also, the model in the video has this american sense to her that seems quite appropriate for today. It's simple and laid back with a touch of toughness with the leather jacket and the slightly beat up Keds. Happy 4th of July!!!
