This is a painting I did of Edie Sedgwick that's done with tempra paint. I seriously love Edie and that entire era! She really is so beautiful photographed! No wonder Andy Warhol drew inspiration from her. That movie about her, "Factory Girl", is definitely one of my favorites. Well here's a couple more great photos of Edie!

Fashion Gone Rogue- We are Handsome Resort 2011 Lookbook
Even though everyone else is looking forward to fall, I feel like I can't really get excited until after September. Southern California weather likes to peak during August and September, which is so inconvenient for me because all I want is to wear sweaters and coats. This week the US Open for Surfing has currently taken over downtown Huntington Beach, which is kind of annoying to me because of all the traffic on PCH and all the people from out of town, uuhhh! But on the positive side there have been free concerts everyday. I saw The Soft Pack and Cold War Kids on Tuesday, which was really cool! I've seen Cold War Kids before, and they are really good live. I'm still debating if I want to see the Cobra Starship tomorrow, guess I'll see how crowded it gets.

(Images from glamcanyon, stylesightings, and Stockholm Street Style)
Inspiration comes from so many different people and things. I feel that the trends and clothes that are captured in the streets are very influential in the way I dress myself. Everyone has a different take on how to style certain items, which is so unique and fun! I could browse through fashion street blogs all day long!!!

Nine West/Urban Outfitters/Flea market/Rings:local ring designer, H&M/The Gap/Keds
I got these clog like shoes for such a amazing deal from Nine West! I had been contemplating getting the Jeffery Campbell ones, but felt they were a little too tall for myself since I am already 5'9". The backpack is from the Rose Bowl flea market, which I went to for the first time a couple of weeks back. The flea market was so much fun! I had no idea there was going to be so many random cool stuff! As for the metallic Keds, I usually never wear sneakers, but made an exception for these. They are so comfy and easy, and the silvery color spices them up a bit.

This is a pen drawing that I did a little while back. It is of Charlotte Gainsbourg, who I adore! She just exudes elegance in everything she does. There is nothing that woman hasn't dabbled in, from acting to singing to modeling. Charlotte makes the perfect muse!
